No you won't find one thing here.

I'm glad you cared enough to look.

And then look again.

Why? If you're looking for answers you wont find any. I abandoned this place with my soul a long, long time ago.

Would you care to look again?

How about now?

A very political blog. (An english teenagers view on the US election and the Russel Brand/Jonathon Ross deal)

Okay, so I only just set this thing up today and i'm already posting a second blog.

Part One
US election

But this is something I feel is a serious issue right now.
That is - the US presidential election.

I'm not going to pretend I know anything about the whats going on.
So this is just my opinion on everything I do know, and I welcome anyone who reads this to send inform me where I've gotten my facts wrong.

Here in England we have a lot of problems, house prices plummeting, teenagers getting stabbed on the street (in my old home town, Edmonton, the crime rate has gotten so high most people won't leave their homes alone), the credit crunch, the Iraq war and unemployment at its highest number in 20 years... And whilst all this is going on, we have the most important election in US history going on over the Atlantic.

For the most part I ignored the election... I mean it doesn't affect us over here does it?

Well actually, yes it does.

England
needs America's protection. Most English people won't admit it, but it's true. The fact is most of the world hates us, and the only thing stopping them attacking us is the fear of a retaliation from the US.

In short, our prime minister has his lips placed firmly on the president backside.

So any decision made in America WILL effect us over here. Will it be for better worse? Will we follow suit and soon be seeing a black prime minister?

Either way, the old times are coming to an end. Soon enough it'll become obvious whether we're heading for Dysotopia or Utopia.

To be honest I don't feel like I know enough about the subject to explicitly make any real valid points, but from what I do know, I feel Barack Obama will be a good president, and will be exactly what the world needs after the legacy of George Bush.

Part Two
Russel Brand And Jonathon Ross

Oh god...

Can you say 'blown out of proportion'.
Seriously.

Watch that.

Thats
ALL!?

Seriously. Its just a joke.
Russel Brand and Jonathon Ross are two of the best british comedians at the moment.
They work well together.
And the tabloid newpapers are dead set on crushing everything we hold dear.

Honestly... us british boast that we're the intellectuals of the world, and yet in the week that America (whom we often riddicule for being intolerent) elect the first black president we chastise two of our biggest television personalities for making a prank call.

erm... okay. So what about the hit e4 show Fonejacker? (which I think is genious if you're interested)

The inconisistancy with this story is striking.

So they invaded his privacy? and taking candid pictures of celebrities on holiday
isn't?

So celebrities don't deserve preferential treatment? then why is Andrew Sachs being made out to be a hero while if it had just been a random person they had rung, this whole thing would have been forgotten about the next day

Thoughts on finishing bioshock (xbox 360)

I recently bought Bioshock for the xbox 360. It's already been out a while so I was able to pick up a copy for £10, which is a bargain for a next-gen game.

Bioshock is only the third game i've ever played on my xbox 360 so the next-gen charm is still fresh to me, and this game is full of it. Everything about Bioshock oozes next-gen, the graphics, the sound and the control is state of the art, and teh sci-fi atmoshpere really hooked me... at first.

Yeah, I had fun with this game but ultimately I spent the whole time thinking 'whats the point?'.

The story is revealed in short radio conversations... the only problem with this is that half the time whilst your trying to listen to the radio message you'll be being attacked and won't be able to understand a word thats being said to you. And there is a way to play back these messages, but you're never expilicitly told about it, and I only found it by accident later on.

In an effort to be able to decipher these messages the first time their played I put on the subtitles... which were horribly bad. Half the time the messages will be displayed long enough to be read but are NEVER in time. Once or twice the wrong subtitles came up entirely, or half way through a radio conversation I'd walk into a different scene and the subtitles would vanish all together.

Yeah.

But anyway, relating back to the title of this blog.
I finished the game earlier on today. I sat back and got ready for a nice long video scene explaining everything that had happened durign the game and clearing up any loose ends. Imagine my surprise when all I got was 40 second montage of the little sisters growing up and blah-de-blah.

Seriously. When a game has a confusing story, you can't end it by just leaving the player with more questions. Assassins creed, the first game I played on my 360 did this too, but in a much worse way... (I was utterly convinced that I hadn't finished the game until I checked gamefaqs and found out there was nothing else left to do, besides collect a load of flags, which in my opinion is the most lame attempt at artificially increasing a games length ever).

My play time must have been between 10-20 hours, but im not sure of the exact time.
So it's kept me entertained for a fair amount of time.
